The Fabrication Process: Step by Step
Design Phase
The project begins with detailed CAD design. The structure is first drawn in our CAD software to generate precise visualizations, which are presented to the customer for review and approval. This step ensures alignment with client requirements and facilitates accurate fabrication.
Production Phase
Upon receiving customer approval, production commences on the main rafter components. These are fabricated using a dedicated jig table to ensure consistent dimensions and perfect repeatability across all identical parts.
Frame Assembly Phase
The frames are then assembled by welding them into manageable 6' x 12' sections. During this stage, the floats are securely bolted to the welded frame sections to form stable, transportable units.
Final Assembly and Installation Phase
At the boat launch site, the 6' x 12' sections are transported to the water's edge and bolted together to create the complete dock structure. Once fully connected, the assembled dock is carefully pulled or maneuvered into position on the river.
